Our maple syrup tends to be of a pretty consistant flavour throughout the season but, depending on what the trees decide on any given year, can range from the light side of the Amber grade (see below for a grading conversion chart from the old grading system to the updated one in use now) early in the season to the darker side of the Amber grade as the season comes to a close. All of it has been of a nice, smooth, flavour and makes for a really excellent table syrup.
If you prefer a more delicate flavour, go for the lighter Amber. If you prefer a slightly more distinct, flavour, try the later-season Amber. Just let us know in the Ordering Notes when you place your order online and we'll select a syrup that most closely matches your preference.
In addition to what is pictured above, we also do Maple Butter (aka maple cream), Granulated Maple Sugar (an excellent replacement for refined sugar!), and Maple Nuggets which are essentially small maple sugar candies in a crumbled format.
Here's our current price list. This will all be available at our farm's Sugar house (our location and contact info is here) for local pick-up. We do come into Sault Ste. Marie every few weeks and would be happy to take orders and deliver while we're in town, or we can ship anywhere in Canada.
